change of direction

I've had a change of direction this year,

headed down a path of my career instead of schooling,

I'm now a hairdressing apprentice, and couldn't be more pleased. its something I've always wanted to do, its fresh, exciting and keeps me on my toes.

although its not an easy path (at all) its something ill have for life and i don't regret my decision at all.

i never realised how much growing up in a short period of time i had to do, you don't have time for the "high school gossip" or "high school relationships" or parties, or any social events to be honest.

not that i am a huge social butterfly or anything but you get quite lonely and find out who really wants to be in your life and who doesn't. basically my friends have reduced quite dramatically, which is hard but i had to find out one day or another who really cares for me.

hairdressing has also given me a lot more confidence, one of my fears as a child is talking on the phone, i would do anything and everything to get off the phone to anyone I'm not comfortable with, and now i quite enjoy it.

i also can be put by myself and make new friends quite easily these days, I'm not as quiet as i used to be, as i am outspoken yet so introverted.

this year its been a massive wakeup call on every aspect of my life really, and i can't wait to see how it continues as its been rough but rewarding at the same time.

i know i said i'd come back the next day but the interwebs were stuffing up and here i am once again months later ready to post something no one will even see.

i guess this is for my own benefit of the doubt?

today, i basically broke my wallet getting my sisters 18th gift,
i got a lot of makeup!

first i went on the benefit website and then i finished the present with an explosion of lip products from beauty joint. its my first time buying off their, so i hope nothing goes wrong and the customer service is perfection.

the reason why i am not at school at the moment, is cause i was a lucky human to catch glandular fever :(

its so shit,
no better way of describing it to be real..

so i havent been to school in almost 2 weeks.  so i feel very behind on life cause ive been in be basically dying,

Sydney IMATS on the 25th of September

IMATS was incredible, its an amazing experience. IMATS stands for the International Makeup Artists Trade Show. The two main featured makeup artists were Tami Lane which was the makeup artist for Lord of the Rngs, and Napolian Perdis was also there. There were so many different brands, most i have heard of but i descovered some new ones. There were brands like; M.A.C, MakeupForever, Inglot,Naked Cosmetics and sooooo.... much more! I am deffinatly going next year, I have learn't so much and had so much fun!
